A discovery, and a difficult choice

Last night, I found something wonderful hiding in the file structure of this little flash drive. Amongst the files I found on there are the opening notes to a project I began a while ago. I had almost entirely forgotten about it. But once I’d read through the few notes I had, I was excited.Flash drive

“Write me!” the story screamed. I shook my head and apologised. I don’t have a plot written for it yet. I have learnt the hard way that I can’t just sit down and write without knowing at least roughly where I’m going.

So I’ve made a decision. I shall continue to work with Shadewings, although at the moment I’m focusing more on Camp NaNoWriMo and also on my contributions for Prompted Musings 2. There is a lot to Shadewings and I look forward to seeing it in the flesh. But regarding this new/old project, I will start gathering together any thoughts and ideas, and if I have the plan sorted out by November, I shall consider doing it as my NaNoWriMo 2015 work. It’s a long way off, but not nearly far enough!

I’m going to stay rather tight-lipped about this new project. But I will say that it’s the closest I’ve gotten to writing in both Sci-fi and Distopian fantasy genres.
